Gingerbread House Competition

The competition will be open to residents throughout Marietta, OH and the surrounding community.
Space is limited to the first 20 entries. Entries will be accepted in the order registrations are received until available display space is filled.
Important Dates:
Wednesday November 4th – Registrations Open
Wednesday November 18th – Registrations Close at 5:00PM (Or once we receive 20 entries)
Friday December 11th – Drop off at The Anchorage between 5:30PM – 8PM
Saturday December 12th - General Display for Judges and Community members Peoples Choice Vote
Sunday December 13th during Open House for Peoples Choice Voting
Winner Announced via Social Media Monday December 14th
Wednesday, December 23 — Entry Pickup or Disposal between 5:30PM – 8PM
AWARDS
Each competition category will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place.
CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS
YOUTH - Ages 17 & Under
ADULT Amateur - Ages 18+
ADULT Professional - Ages 18+
FAMILY / GROUP - Two or more people are involved For entries created collaboratively by two or more people.
ADDITIONAL AWARDS PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD - Selected by locals that attend The Anchorage during the open business hours and during the Open House December 13th. Locals can donate $1 to their favorite entry. $1 = 1 vote. Donations are for the upkeep and restoration of The Anchorage. All non-professional entries, regardless of category, are eligible.
